Hi painty friends! My Name is Donna Cox, owner & lead artist at Face Painting by Donna located In Southern New Jersey. I have been “Painting the children & children at heart since 1993!”

Growing up the daughter of an amazing florist, I learned the love of color and design at an early age. I had always known I wanted to work with children, so face painting quickly became a passion & a perfect fit for me. My two now grown daughters literally grew up under my tent as we, along with my husband, spent most weekends at festivals and fairs.

Fast forward 25 years later and here we are! I have been the exclusive face painter for The Cape May County Zoo for the past 7 years. This year I have expanded into starting a small painting team there as well. 

My art has been published in several magazines including being a featured artist in Skinmarkz magazine, as well the cover of Wetpaint magazine. In 2016, I was honored to be among the amazing artist selected by Heather Green to represent Silly Farm on the Today Show for the Belly Paint Project, as well as a featured artist at the FABATV booth at FABAIC 2017. This year I was thrilled to start my instructor debut at ACE 2018. I had a blast teaching & sharing my designs with a touch of lighthearted fun thrown in!

I can’t wait to share with you my “over the rainbow” Zoo fun designs in St Louis! We will be implementing Rainbow cakes & Split cakes into magical fun!
